From a young age, Shahar was drawn to martial arts. His passion for Taijiquan and Qigong led him on a journey of discovery to China, where he has lived since 2005, continually deepening his knowledge and experience.
Throughout his more than two decades of devoted study, Shahar earned a degree in Physical Education and Chinese Martial Arts from the Shanghai University of Sport and had the privilege of studying privately with Master Xie Yelei, the university's lead instructor for Taijiquan and Qigong and a renowned martial artist throughout China. Through this close mentorship, Shahar became Master Xie's successor and a fourth-generation inheritor of the Hong lineage of Chen-style Taijiquan.
Over the years, Shahar has taught countless people both in China and abroad, helping them discover the transformative benefits of Taijiquan and Qigong, improving their physical health and mental clarity.
